Steps
Noticed that I can more easily put together in my mind if I have things in steps. You can make the most complicated graph ever, but if it has steps with defining characteristics, you can more easily absorb the information. For example, I have a confusing situation where information needs to be pulled from one architecture, and into a new one, but there are many tables involved. I drew it out...
